Oh You're So Funny
Ask yourself what is your quality of life.
Aren't we all just striving for an ultimate fulfillment in our life and is it attainable?
Most of our energy is striving for what is essential, but beyond that we strive for a form of fulfillment.
How do we begin to have meaning in our life?
I remember a time where there was so much pain that I got in my car and just drove not knowing where I was going and no destination in mind. I was just running as fast as I could and I didn't even have anything I was running from just pain. I drove until it dawned on me that I had gone too far and the pain was still as strong and I had to pull over and assess what I was doing.
Taking action felt better than doing nothing but it wasn't solving anything.
Before we had cars just imagine what it would be like to be on the back of a horse racing across the land flying under the twisted branches of pines, the wind in the tops of the trees against blue skies where hope and light would wash it all away, while holding tight to the strong animal as he powered away towards whatever direction may come. But the same outcome would have come and at some point you would need to stop and assess where you were going.
There's no right way to run away.
You may think it's funny, but the solution begins by growth and you can't begin to grow until you assess what your problems are and find solutions and become accountable for where you are and take the right actions to get where you want to be. Then you will begin to get a glimmer of fulfillment.
And what's even funnier is that once you begin to grow it's the act of giving back that is the biggest fulfillment.
